Cory Pass

This is one of my favorite, yet most grueling hike I have been on.  It features about fifteen or twenty minutes of gradual up hill and then the tough part.  The trail almost seems to go strait up the mountain for a time and then the switchbacks don't give you any rest as you climb up this side of the mountain.  You think you get relief as you go into the trees but there is another steep section up there and then you finally cut across the side of the valley and reach the pass.  It is rewarding and has incredible views the entire hike.   Recommended.
